Fully Automatic Garbage Grab Crane

All three control modes have manual control device and manual priority ability,so the crane will switch to manual control mode and stop automatic working any time when operator touched the manual joystick.

There are four processing during fully automatic  mode:

Automatic feeding、automatic scanning、automatic carrying、automatic mixing.

The garbage grab crane is mainly composed of components such as the bridge frame, the traveling mechanism of the main trolley, the traveling mechanism of the auxiliary trolley, the hoisting mechanism, the grab device, and the electrical control system. Its working principle is as follows:

 

  • Hoisting and Lowering: The hoisting mechanism drives the drum through an electric motor. The drum winds the steel wire rope, which is connected to the grab. When the electric motor rotates forward, the drum retracts the rope, and the grab rises; when the electric motor rotates in reverse, the drum releases the rope, and the grab descends. By precisely controlling the running speed and stroke of the electric motor, the grab can accurately reach the garbage stacking position and the unloading position.
  • Horizontal Movement: The traveling mechanism of the main trolley and the traveling mechanism of the auxiliary trolley are responsible for the horizontal movement of the crane. The traveling mechanism of the main trolley drives the crane to move longitudinally along the rails on both sides of the workshop, while the traveling mechanism of the auxiliary trolley drives the grab to move transversely on the bridge frame. Through the coordinated operation of the two, the grab can accurately reach any position in the garbage disposal area.
  • Garbage Grabbing by the Grab: The grab is a key component of the garbage grab crane. Common types include the jaw-type grab and the petal-type grab. Taking the jaw-type grab as an example, when the grab descends above the garbage, the two jaw plates are opened by controlling the hydraulic system or the electric system, and then the grab continues to descend and inserts into the garbage. Subsequently, the hydraulic system or the electric system drives the jaw plates to close, and the garbage is grabbed by the clamping force of the jaw plates. The working principle of the petal-type grab is similar, and the garbage is grabbed through the opening and closing of multiple petal-shaped structures.
  • Unloading: After the grab has grasped the garbage, the grab is lifted to a certain height by the hoisting mechanism, and then the grab is moved above the designated unloading position, such as a garbage transport vehicle or garbage disposal equipment, by the traveling mechanisms of the main and auxiliary trolleys. Then, the jaw plates or petal-shaped structures of the grab are controlled to open, and the garbage is unloaded into the designated position.
  • Coordination of the Control System: The electrical control system is the “brain” of the garbage grab crane, which is responsible for coordinating the actions of various mechanisms. The operator can control the operation of the crane through the operating handle or buttons in the operation room, and can also achieve semi-automatic or fully automatic control through programming. In the semi-automatic and fully automatic modes, the control system automatically controls the hoisting, lowering, horizontal movement of the crane, as well as the opening and closing actions of the grab according to the preset program and the information fed back by the sensors, so as to achieve efficient and accurate garbage grabbing and unloading operations. At the same time, the control system also has safety protection functions, such as limit protection, overload protection, emergency braking, etc., to ensure the safe operation of the crane.
